You are invited to bring anything on the food sign up sheet that has not already been spoken for. Ham, turkey, baked potatoes and bottled water will be supplied.

In recognition of the food insecurity that many of our neighbors are currently facing, please bring a donation of non-perishable food – canned, bottled, boxed – that we will deliver to the local food pantry. The current list of requested items includes chicken rice soup, cream of celery soup, chunky soups, lentils (1 pound size), chick peas, dry beans, black beans, canned chicken (small size), canned tuna, and pancake syrup.

We will be holding our quarterly meeting on Sunday, October 26th, downstairs in the An Sibin of Tellus360, starting at 1:00 pm

There will be a short business meeting before being regaled by our speaker for the day.

Author Lauren Thomas will discuss her book, The Celtic Code  -  Can the Irish Save Western Civilization Again, and its take on Irish mythology and history, and the process by which her book came about.  Ms. Thomas lives in Delaware and teaches Irish language, history, mythology, and culture there.  She hosts a podcast,  The Incomparable History Of Ireland, available at https://www.buzzsprout.com/2305989/ or on Spotify.

Street parking on Sundays is free. If you don't like leaving your car parked on the street or can't find street parking, and don't mind walking a few blocks I believe Steinman Garage parking is also free on Sundays. On the 4th Sunday of each month an Irish session is held upstairs with music beginning at 2:00 PM which will be in process by the time our meeting concludes.

Our quarterly meeting will be held on Sunday, April 27, downstairs in the An Sibin of Tellus360, starting at 1:00 p.m.

We will be joined by Nancy Fitzgerald, local journalist and author, who will discuss her recent book, Brigid’s Mantle: Finding the Fiery Saint of Kildare at the Heart of Celtic Spirituality.

An ordained bishop and successor to the apostles of Christ, Brigid was one of the most important leaders of the fledgling Irish church. This book explores the lessons Brigid has to offer women—and the entire church—today.

Our February meeting will be a performance and presentation by Charlie Zahm.

Charlie will speak about Irish Heroes— perform some of the great songs concerning Ireland's heroes of the past, provide details on the environments in which they lived and in what way they dedicated themselves to freedom for Ireland

Tickets for this event will be handled by our treasurer, Corrine.
Members will be able to purchase tickets ahead of the general public.
